Magnox North has been accredited with a Silver Award against the Investors in People standard – following its first assessment as an organisation as a whole.
A number of strengths were highlighted during the assessment, including Magnox North’s commitment to employee development, health, safety and the environment.
The findings of the audit also brought encouraging news for the organisation in its aim to integrate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into all aspects of the business. The feedback described how Magnox North had already built an ‘impressive’ sense of CSR.
The assessors also stated that Magnox North “operates at a level considerably above that of the National Standard of Investors in People and, for such a large and diverse organisation operating in three countries, has achieved a very impressive score.”
Magnox North’s HR Director, Andrew Donovan, said: “It is fantastic news that we have achieved this Silver Award and that we have had so many positive comments as a result of the assessment process.”
