Wylfa has been awarded a Five Star Environmental Rating after receiving a fantastic 94.5% score from the British Safety Council under their Five Star Environmental Award Scheme - at the time of the audit - the highest score attained by any UK organisation so far this year.
The award was presented this month in London. Wylfa’s Environmental Co-ordinator Steve Riches said, “We have gained a great deal from the audit assessment. It has highlighted a number of minor improvements which we can implement over coming months to further enhance our Environmental Performance. “This was the first time we had put in for the award, and we are delighted with our success.”
