Magnox North is holding an event for its supply chain in North Wales on December 1st. The conference, entitled ‘Meet the Supplier’ will match local businesses with specific skills and experience, to Magnox North’s largest contractors with the aim of identifying upcoming opportunities for work.

Wylfa Appoints New Site Director
Magnox North’s Wylfa Site has announced the appointment of Nick Gore as the new site director following the departure of Greg Evans in September. Nick brings with him a wealth of experience and proven leadership qualities, to what is one of the most vital roles in Magnox North. His new role will commence on November 9th 2009.

EnergySolutions Funding Drives Forward Mountain Bike Trail Network
EnergySolutions, who manage the UK’s 10 Magnox reactor sites, on behalf of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, has pumped £30k into an organisation who are in the process of developing a network of mountain bike trails around a hub of Blaenau Ffestiniog, Gwynedd.
